Your podcast shouldn’t just build an audience. It should build your business.

The Podcast Business System™ is a 12-framework architecture designed to remove the guesswork and give your podcast a real business structure.

The Podcast Business System™ is a guided system that helps new podcasters, established hosts, and business owners build the strategy, positioning, authority, content, communication, conversion, and measurement systems behind a podcast that creates business value.

WATCH:

Why professionally produced podcasts still fail to create business value—and How to Fix It.

You do not need another course telling you how to launch or which camera & mic to buy.

You need a system that answers the questions that determine how your podcast creates value for your business.

Most Podcasts Are Built in the Wrong Order

Most podcast programs begin with equipment, recording software, cover art, hosting platforms, and publishing schedules.

Those things matter—but they do not determine whether a podcast becomes valuable to a business.

A show can have excellent audio, impressive guests, polished video, and a new episode every week while still failing to produce meaningful business results.

That’s because production began before the business architecture was defined.

A Professionally Produced Podcast Can Still Have No System For:

Strategy

The host cannot clearly explain what the podcast is supposed to accomplish for the business.

Positioning

The show speaks to a broad audience and gives the right listener no compelling reason to choose it.

Communication

The host has expertise but has not built a repeatable way to make complex ideas clear, relevant, and actionable

Conversion

The show generates attention but provides no deliberate path from listener to lead, client, customer, member, donor, or opportunity.

ROI

Episodes require time and money, but the host cannot define or evaluate the value the podcast creates.

Attribution

The business may be benefiting from the podcast, but there is no system for recognizing or documenting its influence.

The result is a podcast that remains active—but never becomes an asset.

The “Publish Every Week and Chase Downloads” Model Is Broken

For years, podcasters have been told to release episodes consistently, grow their download numbers, AND eventually monetize the audience through sponsorships and CPM-based advertising.

BUT… that model only works for shows capable of attracting very large audiences.

It is Not the only—or even the most practical—model for a business podcast.

Many business hosts receive 20, 90, or 200 downloads per episode. That does not automatically mean their podcast has failed.

Twenty of the right listeners can be more valuable than thousands of passive listeners.

A podcast can help a business:

Build authority

Educate prospective clients

Shorten the trust-building process

Strengthen professional relationships

Generate qualified inquiries

Support an existing offer

Open partnership opportunities

Create reusable intellectual property

Nurture an email audience

Document expertise

Improve client retention

Influence high-value decisions

None of that happens consistently by accident.

It requires a Business System behind the show.

But you already know most of that, which is why you’ve been thinking about how to turn your podcast into a business asset

This system was built for you if:

You are planning a podcast and want to build it correctly from the beginning.

You already have a show, but its business purpose is unclear.

You publish regularly but cannot connect the podcast to measurable outcomes.

You have authority but no clear listener conversion path.

You have strong guests but no strategic system for choosing or using those conversations.

Your episodes cover useful topics but do not build toward a larger body of intellectual property or authority

You have an email list, audience, or professional network but do not know how the podcast should support it.

Your calls to action feel random, repetitive, or disconnected from the episode.

You monitor downloads but cannot explain what those numbers mean for the business.

You spend substantial time producing content that creates little leverage after publication.

You are tired of piecing together podcast advice from unrelated courses, videos, templates, and AI prompts.

You want the podcast to support an offer, company, professional practice, personal brand, mission, or organization.

This is not another “How to Launch a Podcast” course.

It is a guided system for building the business architecture behind Your podcast.

Your Podcast Needs a Clear Job

Before deciding what to record next, you should know what the podcast is meant to do.

Attract

Reach and resonate with the right people—not simply the largest possible audience.

Influence

Build understanding, trust, authority, and demand through strategically designed communication.

Convert

Connect the relationship created by the show to an appropriate business action or measurable outcome.

The Podcast Business System™ helps You define that job and build the systems needed to perform it.

The Podcast Business System™

The Podcast Business System™ is a complete 12-framework development process for designing a podcast that supports real business objectives.

Each framework addresses a specific part of the show’s business architecture.

The playbooks teach you the system.

The workbooks help you build it for your podcast.

The Framework Instruments give you practical decision tools, templates, checklists, scorecards, and exercises.

The custom ChatGPT Project helps you work through the material with guided coaching instead of leaving you alone with a stack of PDFs and blank workbook pages.

At the end of the process, your decisions are consolidated into one complete Podcast Business Profile.

You do not finish with disconnected notes.

You finish with a strategic source of truth for your show.

TD THIS IS A SHOW THAT TRAVIS PRODUCED

From “Why Are We Still Doing This?” to a Podcast With a Clear Business Job

Some podcasters reach 30 episodes, 52 episodes, or even more than 100 episodes and still find themselves asking:

Why are we doing this podcast?

The show may sound professional. The guests may be impressive. The team may publish consistently.

But once the initial excitement wears off, the harder questions begin:

What is the return?

How is this helping the business?

What should we measure?

Which episodes are moving us forward?

Why are we investing this much time every week?

Should we keep going?

I have seen marketing teams launch strong-looking shows, only to lose internal support after a handful of episodes because the podcast was never connected to a defined business outcome.

The Podcast Business System addresses that problem before months of time, energy, and production investment are spent learning through trial and error.

It gives the show a business strategy from the beginning—and a clear roadmap for how the podcast is expected to create value.

Do Not Wait Until Episode 52 to Decide What Your Podcast Is Supposed to Do

Before the Podcast Business System

The Podcast Is Produced Before Its Business Role Is Defined

The show launches without a clear business purpose.
Success is reduced to downloads, subscribers, and CPM potential.
Topics and guests are chosen episode by episode without a larger strategy.
Authority is visible, but there is no deliberate conversion path.
Production time keeps growing while business value remains difficult to prove.
When leadership asks, “What are we getting from this?” there is no clear answer.

After the Podcast Business System

The Podcast Begins With a Defined Business Strategy

The show has a clear business job from the beginning.
ROI is defined beyond downloads and tied to real business outcomes.
Topics, guests, interviews, hooks, and CTAs support specific objectives.
The podcast deliberately builds authority and moves listeners toward the right next step.
One approved Podcast Business Profile guides the host, team, and production workflow.
The show becomes easier to sustain because its value can be explained, measured, and improved.

The Podcast Business System helps you answer “Why are we doing this?” before you have invested six months producing a show without a clear return.

It replaces trial-and-error podcasting with a defined business strategy, a complete show profile, and a roadmap for turning episodes into authority, relationships, opportunities, and measurable business value.

Build the Business System Before Producing More Episodes

20+ Years in Professional Audio

  • 500+ Business Episodes in One Year
  • Podcast Producer Since 2006
  • Former University Recording Arts Instructor
  • Former Sony BMG Engineer
  • Founder of DLXPRO and AMP Music Lab

Built From Real Studio Experience—Not Podcast Theory

The Podcast Business System was created by Travis Dempsey, a professional audio engineer, educator, podcast producer, and founder of DLXPRO and AMP Music Lab.

Travis began working in professional audio more than 20 years ago. As an engineer for Sony BMG, he contributed to major-label projects, including Britney Spears’ In the Zone, and received an RIAA-certified plaque recognizing his contribution to the project.

In 2006, he produced his first podcast for the Napoleon Hill Foundation: the Think and Grow Rich Podcast.

He later served as a university instructor at one of the leading recording-arts programs in the United States, helping train future audio professionals.

He also founded AMP Music Lab, where he has taught and coached students in recording arts, music production, and audio engineering.
Today, Travis operates DLXPRO, a video podcast production company serving Palm Beach County, Florida.

Through his studio and production work, he has supported business hosts across fields including:

Law

Medicine

Real estate

Athletics

Psychology

Business coaching

Relationship coaching

Yoga and wellness

Event and wedding services

Education

Professional services

What He Saw Repeatedly

The primary obstacle was rarely production quality.

Clients could have professional audio, multi-camera video, valuable expertise, and impressive guests—and still have no reliable way to connect the podcast to the business.

They had authority but no conversion system.

They had excellent conversations but no content architecture.

They published every week but could not identify ROI.

Some had significant email audiences but still did not know how the podcast should generate business value.

Travis created the Podcast Business System to fix that missing layer—first for the business clients he serves and now for podcast hosts who need the same architecture without paying for a high-ticket consulting engagement.

Why I Built This System

I have spent decades helping people create professional shows and years working directly with business podcast hosts.

I have watched people dedicate enormous amounts of time, money, and energy to their shows.

They prepared guests, recorded episodes, reviewed edits, created clips, posted on social media, and returned the following week to do it all over again.

But many could not answer one basic question:

What is this podcast actually doing for the business?

That was not because they lacked expertise or commitment.

Many of them were highly accomplished professionals with valuable knowledge, respected businesses, established networks, and compelling guests.

The problem was the model they had been given.

They were told to publish consistently, chase downloads, and wait for a large audience to create monetization opportunities.

That is not the only way a podcast creates value.

A business podcast can build trust with future clients, strengthen relationships, demonstrate expertise, support an offer, educate a market, create intellectual property, and generate opportunities that may be worth far more than advertising revenue.

But those outcomes require deliberate architecture.

The strategy, positioning, authority, communication, content, conversion, ROI, and attribution systems must work together.

That is why I built the Podcast Business System.

It is the system I wanted my business podcast clients to have before we planned another episode.

My goal is not to help you create more content for the sake of being active.

My goal is to help you build a podcast that has a clear job, supports your larger work, and grows more valuable as your body of content expands.

Featured Case Study

Before

Dr. Earl Campazzi wanted to launch Better Health with AI as more than an informational podcast. The business objective was to use the show to establish authority around the intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare, and wellness—and support the development of the Better Health with AI book.

The challenge was building a show with enough strategic focus, credibility, and consistency to position Earl as a recognizable voice in the category.

What Changed

Using the podcast framework process, we developed and launched the show around a clear authority-building objective.

The strategy shaped:

The show’s positioning and audience

Its core subject matter and episode direction

The way Earl communicated his expertise

The weekly publishing cadence

The relationship between the podcast and the larger book concept

Instead of treating the show as a collection of general conversations about AI and health, each episode contributed to a larger body of thought leadership.

Result

Within approximately three months of launching and publishing weekly episodes, Dr. Earl Campazzi secured a publishing deal for his Better Health with AI book—the central authority goal the show was designed to support.

The podcast helped create a consistent public platform for his ideas, demonstrate the strength of the concept, and support his positioning as an expert in the emerging field.

Why Not Just Use a Normal ChatGPT Conversation?

(Like you’ve been doing)

Yeah sure -You can ask a normal AI conversation to brainstorm an episode, write a script, or produce show notes.

….But a blank chat does not automatically understand your full podcast business architecture. Podcast Production OS™ does.

Standard ChatGPT Conversation

Responds primarily to the current prompt
Requires repeated background explanations
May make assumptions about your audience or offer
Can produce inconsistent structures
May recommend irrelevant calls to action
Does not automatically follow your established episode methodology
Often generates generic content that sounds similar to other AI-assisted shows
Loses strategic alignment when context changes

Podcast Production OS

Begins with your completed Podcast Business Profile

Understands whom the show serves
Knows how the podcast is positioned
Knows the host’s offers and approved CTAs
Follows established episode maps and interview arcs
Applies hook, cold-open, retention, and scripting formulas
Produces assets within the context of the entire show
Uses consistent templates and quality-control standards
Provides show-specific Producer Travis guidance
Maintains alignment between strategy, episodes, and surrounding content

A normal AI conversation just responds to a prompt…

The Podcast Production OS responds to the prompt within the strategic context of your entire show.

It combines:

Your business strategy + your show profile + proven podcast frameworks + production templates + guided execution

Thats the difference between using AI as a generic writing tool and using it as a show-specific production system.

Strategic Content System

Use each episode as the source for a larger body of business content. The Production OS helps turn recordings into aligned articles, emails, social posts, promotional assets, and reusable intellectual property that continue supporting the show’s authority, audience, and offers after publication.

You do not begin every episode with a blank chat. You begin with the complete strategy of your show already established.

As your business changes, the Show Builder keeps your podcast strategy current—so future episodes continue reflecting the right positioning, language, offers, calls to action, and communication style.

Strategy Alone Is Not Enough. Production Without Strategy Is Not Enough.

Strategy Without Execution Stalls
You can define the audience, positioning, authority, conversion path, and business objective—but those decisions only become valuable when they shape what the show actually produces.
Production Without Strategy Creates More Content, Not More Value
You can release polished episodes every week, but without a business system behind them, the show can still become an expensive content habit.

The Complete System Connects Both

The Podcast Business System creates the strategy.

The Podcast Production OS applies that strategy to every episode and supporting asset.

The result is a podcast that becomes easier to produce, easier to explain, easier to measure, and more closely connected to the business.

Without the complete system:
Every episode becomes another isolated production decision.

With the complete system:
Every episode becomes an execution of the larger podcast business strategy.

Includes: The Podcast Business System™ & The Podcast Production OS™

Stop Starting Over Every Time You Create an Episode

Without one approved business profile, the host or production team must repeatedly explain:

Who the audience is

What the show is trying to accomplish

What should we measure?

How the host is positioned

What the business offers

Which call to action is appropriate

What the episode should sound like

How the show builds authority

What the content should lead toward

That repetition consumes time and still produces inconsistent results.

With the complete system, the major strategic decisions have already been made.

The Podcast Production OS begins from your approved Podcast Business Profile and applies the same audience, positioning, communication, conversion, and production logic to every episode.

The Result

Faster episode preparation

More consistent show positioning

Stronger hooks and openings

More purposeful interviews

Better-aligned calls to action

Less time correcting generic AI output

More reusable content from each recording

A production workflow that remains connected to business goals

What once required repeated explanation, scattered files, and days of preparation becomes one guided workflow grounded in the strategy of your show.

Build the Kind of Podcast Architecture Commonly Addressed Through Expensive Consulting, Strategy, and Production Engagements

The Complete Podcast Business System brings those layers together in one self-directed and guided process.

You receive:

A complete 12-framework business methodology

Guided implementation materials

AI-assisted strategic coaching

A consolidated Podcast Business Profile

A show-specific production operating system

FAQ

Is this for a brand-new podcast?

Yes. New podcasters can use the system to define the complete business and production strategy before launching.

Can I use it for an existing show?

Yes. Existing hosts can use it to audit, rebuild, reposition, or strengthen a podcast that lacks a complete business system.

Is the Podcast Production OS included?

Yes. The complete offer includes both the Podcast Business System and Podcast Production OS.

Is this a course?

It is better described as a guided podcast business and production system.
It combines playbooks, workbooks, Framework Instruments, custom ChatGPT Projects, templates, and guided implementation workflows.

Is this just a prompt pack?

No.

The system includes a complete 12-framework business methodology, implementation workbooks, a final strategic profile, and a separate production environment built around established podcast frameworks and workflows.

Do I need ChatGPT?

Yes. The guided Podcast Business System and Podcast Production OS are designed to operate inside ChatGPT Projects.

ChatGPT currently makes Projects available across its plans, including Free, but file limits vary. Free accounts can currently upload up to five files per Project, while Go and Plus support up to 25 and Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education plans support up to 40. OpenAI notes that these plan limits and features may change over time.

Because the system relies on multiple source files, ongoing Project conversations, and access to stronger models, a paid ChatGPT plan is strongly recommended. For most individual users, ChatGPT Plus should provide a more practical experience. Teams may prefer ChatGPT Business for a shared workspace, centralized billing, and administrative controls.

You will create a new ChatGPT Project and upload the provided source files into it. The system includes setup instructions showing you how to organize the files, apply the Project instructions, complete the Podcast Business Profile, and establish the separate Podcast Production OS for each show.

A paid ChatGPT subscription is not included with your purchase..

Will the custom Project look exactly like the sales-page mockup?

No.

Sales-page images are illustrative mockups designed to show the workflow and product experience. The actual ChatGPT interface may vary based on the user’s device, plan, account, and current platform design.

Does the system write the podcast for me?

It helps you develop strategically aligned ideas, outlines, scripts, interviews, calls to action, and publishing assets.

You remain responsible for final decisions, accuracy, delivery, and implementation.

Can I use it with a team?

Yes. The system was designed for both individual creators and internal business or marketing teams.

A team can use one shared Podcast Business Profile to keep the host, leadership, marketing staff, writers, contractors, and production partners aligned around the same strategy. That includes the show’s audience, positioning, communication style, content direction, calls to action, ROI objectives, and attribution methods.

This creates a clear business case for the podcast and gives leadership a documented answer to the question: “What is this show supposed to do for the business?”

The license permits use within your own company and by members of your internal team. It does not include resale, redistribution, or use as a client-delivery system by agencies or consultants unless a separate commercial license is provided..

Can I use it for more than one podcast?

Yes. You may use the system for more than one podcast owned or operated by you or your company.

Each show should have its own ChatGPT Project, source files, completed workbooks, and Podcast Business Profile. This keeps the audience, positioning, offers, communication style, calls to action, and production strategy for each podcast separate and accurate.

For every additional show, create a new Project, upload a fresh copy of the system source files, complete the frameworks for that show, and generate a new Podcast Business Profile.

Use for unrelated client shows, resale, or redistribution is not included unless you offer a separate agency or commercial license.

How long does it take to complete?

Completion time depends on the complexity of the podcast and business.

The system is designed to be completed progressively. New shows and major rebuilds should follow the complete sequence.

Does it include recording or editing services?

No. This is a strategy and production-planning system.

It does not include done-for-you recording, editing, or publishing services unless they are purchased separately through DLXPRO.

Will it help me monetize my podcast?

The system helps you define offers, conversion paths, ROI expectations, and attribution methods.

It does not guarantee revenue. Results depend on the business, offer, audience, market, and implementation.

What happens after I complete the Podcast Business Profile?

You upload the completed profile into the Podcast Production OS.

The Production OS Show Builder chat then uses that strategy to guide future episode and content development.

Will I continue receiving updates?

Your purchase includes access to updates released for Version 1 of the Podcast Business System and Podcast Production OS.

These updates may include corrections, clarifications, refinements, compatibility adjustments, and improvements to the existing Version 1 materials and workflows.

Your purchase does not include guaranteed lifetime access to all future major versions, expansions, or newly developed products. A future Version 2 or other major upgrade may be offered separately.

You Should Not Have to Reach Episode 52 Before You Understand Why the Show Exists

I have seen podcasters produce 30, 50, and more than 100 episodes while still asking themselves what the podcast is doing for the business.

I have also seen companies launch well-produced shows, only to lose momentum when leadership eventually asks, “What are we getting from this?”

The problem is not always the content.

It is often the absence of a business system behind it.

That is why I built the Podcast Business System and Podcast Production OS to work together.

The first helps you define the strategy.

The second helps you produce from it.

Together, they give you a way to build, operate, measure, and improve a podcast without reinventing the show every week.

My goal is not to help you create more random content.

My goal is to help you build a podcast that has a clear job and becomes more valuable as the body of work grows.
